At Detectival 2023 Nokta came out with a big announcement. Nokta announced 3 new products all under $500. Two of new products are metal detectors and the third is a new pin-pointer. Nokta is claiming their new metal detectors will be under $500. The price of the pin-pointer has not been released.
There isn’t any documentation released as of the writing of this article, but I did catch the video on YouTube. Here is what Nokta said when they announced their new SCORE and Double SCORE Metal Detectors as well as their new pin-pointer called the Accupoint. Nokta is also referring to their new pin-pointer as the “Nokta Banana“.
Nokta’s Score and Double Score, What’s The Difference?
- Nokta Score: This metal detector will be a simultaneous multi-freq metal detector that is waterproof (down to 5m). Nokta mentioned that it would be good for the beach but they didn’t mention how it would operation on land. I assume this was left out by accident but they said this detector will not require ground balancing. Perhaps, it may only be a beach metal detector. By comparison, Notka claims their Score detector is the big brother of the Simplex.
- Nokta Double Score: This metal detector is considered the little brother of the Legend. It has recovery speed and some other common settings found on most metal detectors. The Double Score can be used on both land and at the beach. It is also waterproof (5m).
How Much Does the Score and Double Score cost?
Nokta is claiming that Both of these metal detectors will cost under $500.
When Will The Score and Double Score be Available?
According to what Nokta said during their announcement, consumers should be able to purchase the Score and Double Score “hopefully” by the end of 2023.
Nokta Announced a New Pin-Pointer Called The “Accupoint”.
I think the most exciting of three products Nokta announced at Detectival is their new pin-pointer. Nokta is calling it the Accupoint but in the video they are also referring to it as Nokta’s Banana. Here are some of the features of their Accupoint:

- Color LCD.
- Links w/Simplex New Generation, Legend, and Score using Bluetooth.
- Contains DISC modes.
- Rechargeable battery (USB-C).
- Includes a flashlight.
- Measure scale on the outside (cm and inches).
- 9 levels of sensitivity.
- Vibration mode.
- 2 tone options w/iron tone.
- Volume controls.
- Brightness controls.
- A factory reset option.
Nokta did not mention a price but they will be offering the opportunity to beta test the Accupoint. Keep checking their website for the steps to be come a beta tester.
