Metal Detecting Accessories: Harness.

Metal Detecting Accessories

If you are looking for metal detecting accessories that happens to be a metal detecting harness, then I have 2 personal suggestions that are great picks and will serve you well.

These 2 harnesses are great picks for any mental detecting enthusiast looking to add to their metal detecting accessories. I have first hand knowledge because I purchased one of these 2 harnesses and could have easily purchased the other one

Why Did I Pick The OneTigris over The LEJUNJIE?

It really came down to color. I wanted a black harness. But why did I want this kind of metal detecting accessory? Over the winter I was searching for a lightweight harness for my hiking and metal detecting adventures that could take the weight of my gear off of my waste. There is nothing more annoying than the feeling that your pants are falling down because the weight around your waste. A harness takes the weight off  of your waste and equally distributes it across your shoulders. This on accessory greatly improves your metal detecting experience. I picked the OneTigris because it was the color I wanted.

The LEJUNIE Was a Close 2nd.

I also considered the LEJUNJIE Battle Belt but like I said earlier, it came down to the color for me. This battle belt is offered in camouflage but I wanted a black harness. Both the OneTigris and LEJUNJIE offer similar features and are almost identical. The LEJUNJIE has an extra strap that clips across your chest that takes more stress off your back. I wish the OneTigris had the extra strap but it doesn’t.

Both Belts are Very Adjustable.

Because I purchased the OneTigris I am more familiar with its features. But the LEJUNIE is almost identical compared to the OneTigris. The shoulder straps are adjustable in the front and in the back giving you the perfect fit. The belt is also adjustable in case you need to add additional clothes for those cooler months. I have a 36 inch waste and there is plenty of room to fit the belt over a sweatshirt or coat. I would definitely purchase this harness again. If you want to see or learn more about the battle belt watch my full review video below.

How Much Does Each Harnesses Cost?

The price varies depending where you look. I find that Amazon is the best place to get the best price and the shipping is free and fast especially if you are a Amazon Prime member.

Mental Metal

Here is a little about me. I started this hobby back in the early 90's. My first detector was a Whites 5900 DI. I found enough clad the first summer (around $400) to pay it off. Then I stopped detecting... Fortunately, I didn't give it up for good. Here I am 20+ years later and I've rediscovered the joy of metal detecting.
