The March 2026 Metal Detector Giveaway Is Here (And It’s Going to Be Epic)

March is here, and that means it’s time for another Mental Metal detector giveaway. I’m back in the bunker tonight with my sidekick Rocky, and we’ve got something exciting lined up for you all. After the incredible response we had in February, I knew we had to keep the momentum going.

First off, thank you. The support you all showed last month was amazing. These giveaways only happen because of the community behind this channel. When you show up, join the memberships, and participate in the challenges, it makes it possible for me to keep doing things like this.

So let’s talk about what’s happening for March 2026, because this one is going to be another big one.

A Multi-Detector Giveaway

Just like we did in February, this month’s giveaway is a multi-detector choice giveaway.

What does that mean?

Instead of being locked into one specific machine, the winner will get to choose the detector they want as long as it’s at or under the price of a Minelab Manticore.

That opens the door to a lot of great machines.

Some of the options you might consider include:

There are a ton of detectors out there right now, and honestly it’s a great time to be in this hobby. I’ve been spending a lot of time lately with the Legend 2, and I’ve been having a blast with it. I’ve already pulled some really nice finds using it.

Now just to be clear, I’m not knocking any other brands. There are a lot of great machines out there right now. The point of this giveaway is simple you get to pick the detector that works best for you.

When the winner is chosen, I handle the payment and the paperwork, and Fort Bedford Metal Detectors handles the shipping. They’ve been great to work with and they’ll ship the detector directly to you once everything is finalized.

Giveaway Rules (Important!)

Every month I have to go over this because I always get questions.

The big one is this:

You must have a valid United States shipping address to enter.

I know some of you watch from overseas, and I truly appreciate the support. Unfortunately, shipping detectors internationally adds a lot of extra cost and complications.

Because of that, Fort Bedford can only ship within the U.S. for these giveaways.

The Bonus Challenge Is Back

Now here’s where things get really fun.

A lot of you asked for the classic challenge where I bury items in my yard and you try to guess what they are based on the detector signals.

We had to skip it in February because we actually got snow down here, which made digging impossible. But the ground has thawed out, so we’re back at it.

Here’s how it works.

I will:

1. Bury eight mystery items in my yard
2. Scan them with a detector
3. Let you hear the tones and see the IDs

You’ll then choose from 20 possible items in a multiple-choice list and try to guess which eight are buried.

If someone guesses the most correct items, they win.

If there’s a tie, the first comment submitted wins, so getting your guesses in early definitely helps.

Bonus Challenge Prizes

The bonus challenge has its own prize table, and there are some pretty cool items this month.

Some of the prizes include:
