Nokta Legend: How To Change Tone Breaks

Legend Tone Breaks

In this article, I am going to show you how to change the tone breaks of the Nokta Legend. The Legend is a very powerful and fully capable metal detector. It is probably one of the best metal detectors for it’s price. No other metal detector comes close to what this machine offers for under $700.

For new owners of the Legend, the menu navigation can be a bit cumbersome at first. There are many configuration options available and could overwhelm new users. But with a little, patience, practice, and persistence (3 Ps), anyone can learn and master this detector in no time.

To understand how to change the Tone Breaks, I made a “Quick Tip” video on exactly how to change the tone breaks of the Legend. You will find that video linked below. The video is short and to the point but it should help you navigate to the exact setting.

As you can see there isn’t much to the process. Navigating around the Legend’s settings menu will be the hardest thing to remember. But after doing it numerous times, muscle memory will kick in and you won’t have any issues remembering the process.

Where Can You Pick Up The Legend

Most metal detecting vendors will carry Nokta metal detectors to include the Legend. I’ll reference a couple of sites below to compare prices to but I like the guys over at Fort Bedford Metal Detectors. They will give you a great deal and they will answer all your questions. They take care of their customers. Give them a chance to earn your business.

Here is a little about me. I started this hobby back in the early 90's. My first detector was a Whites 5900 DI. I found enough clad the first summer (around $400) to pay it off. Then I stopped detecting... Fortunately, I didn't give it up for good. Here I am 20+ years later and I've rediscovered the joy of metal detecting.
