Introducing The Minelab VANQUISH!

Minelab Vanquish
Metal Detecting for Beginners

Updated 09/16/2019

Introducing the Minelab VANQUISH series of metal detectors. Minelab has released a new line of metal detectors and speculation has already begun. Will these new machines be a low end machines targeting the Garrett Ace models like they did with the AT Series or will they be something completely new? I think we already know the answer.

September 15th 2019 Minelab finally gave us a look at the new Vanquish series of metal detectors. There will be 3 models to choose from. I included links to Kellyco below in case you want to learn more about each machine.

**NEW** I recently broke down each Minelab Vanquish Metal Detector by their model and what’s listed from Minelab’s Tech Specs in this article titled “Which Vanquish Metal Detector is Right For You?”

As I predicted it looks like Minelab is targeting the Garrett Ace line of metal detectors and I plan on comparing both series of detectors very soon. Keep checking back for more information. The information is just coming out and there will be more details to uncover.

(NEW) Minelab VANQUISH Video

Updated 07/17/2019
I just finished watching the NEW Minelab VANQUISH video and the machine is revealed (sort of). I won’t spoil the fun. You can check out the video here. It looks like it will have “Multi-IQ”. The control box is red but it looks like a much smaller metal detector from what I can see. You be the judge. The video makes me chuckle a bit. They are really hyping this machine up. If I had to make a call, I would say this detector is going to target the Garrett ACE line of machines.

Updated 07/17/2019
In addition to the video, Minelab is now offering 3 wallpapers that you can download . I haven’t seen them anywhere to download except from the email I received. Then again, I haven’t really looked too hard on their website but I’m sure they are out there somewhere.

(NEW) Minelab Launches VANQUISH Competition.

Updated 07/17/2019
I received an additional email from Minelab titled “WIN A VANQUISH DETECTOR“. When I opened it, the email describes what you have to do to enter the competition. There isn’t much more than that except that there is a photo of what appears to be the VANQUISH stem and control box sticking out of a rock. The actual image is below. Click on the image an it will take you to their competition page. The competition ends August 16th at 5:00 PM, 2019.

Vanquish Information Leaking Out?

(Update 6/26/19) I have started seeing some specs on the Vanquish but I’m not 100% sure they are accurate or even real at this point. But for what its worth it appears that it will be a multi-frequency or what they call a “Multi-IQ” machine and why wouldn’t it be? Minelab crushed the market with this technology. I suspect this new metal detector will also be a “Multi-IQ” machine that will probably go after the entry level machines that are priced below $600.

Mental Metal

Here is a little about me. I started this hobby back in the early 90's. My first detector was a Whites 5900 DI. I found enough clad the first summer (around $400) to pay it off. Then I stopped detecting... Fortunately, I didn't give it up for good. Here I am 20+ years later and I've rediscovered the joy of metal detecting.
