About The Apex First Look.

It appears that the Garrett Apex will be completely different look than what we are used to seeing from the Garrett AT and Ace Series of metal detectors. I for one think this new look will be well received for Garrett loyalists based on what was show in the video.

New Clues From The Video.

A little more was revealed but not much. Here is what was mentioned.

  • New Coils Size/Shape
  • Iron Volume Adjustment
  • Flexible Technology.
  • New Look/Design

Video Thoughts.

I find it somewhat interesting the way Garrett has decided to tease the community. If you take a look back at what Steve Moore had to say back in March he indicated that they weren’t interested in doing these types of teaser videos.

But yet, that’s exactly what they are doing. If you don’t believe me then hear it for yourself. Watch the video below.

Honestly, I don’t have a problem with these types of videos. At a time where many folks need something to look forward to, this is the type of thing that gives folks something to look forward to. In the end, these types of videos will stir up the base for sure but will they bring in the customers?

We’ll know more May 15th but you’ll have to register to watch the big reveal. You can go here to register. https://www.garrett.com/tune-live-reveal

I put together a couple other articles on the APEX from what was released previously. Those articles are listed below.

Introducing The Garrett APEX Metal Detector

Garrett If You Are Reading This…

MentalMetalDetecting.com would love to get one the first cracks at reviewing the APEX.

Mental Metal

Here is a little about me. I started this hobby back in the early 90's. My first detector was a Whites 5900 DI. I found enough clad the first summer (around $400) to pay it off. Then I stopped detecting... Fortunately, I didn't give it up for good. Here I am 20+ years later and I've rediscovered the joy of metal detecting.
