My top 5 best coin shooting videos of all time cut across all of my experiences and adventures from the last several years metal detecting on YouTube. I love to metal detect for American Civil War relics but I recently became obsessed with finding silver coins. But why? I think the reason is due in part to the amazing permission I landed but also because I was offered opportunities to hunt with others on their permission. As a result, this past year was a spectacular year for finding silver. I hit an all time personal best of finding over 60 silver coins for the year. Thankfully, I took a camera a long and captured most of special moments and I want to share my Top 5 Best Coin Shooting Videos of All time. Crazy Silver in 2019. https://youtu.be/OlSzwOcUGJE Metal Detecting a Pool of Silver is a metal detecting video about finding silver coins buried deep underground from an old pool area that once contained a dance hall, penny candy store, changing room etc. I've dug over 30 silver coins from this location. It has definitely turned out to be one of the best metal detecting spots and will probably go down as some of my best metal detecting hunts of 2019. In this video, I'm treasure hunting with the XP Deus 11 inch stock coil and the 9 inch round High Frequency coil. I did OK with the stock coil and found a few silver coins. But wait until you see what the 9 inch high frequency (HF) coil using my custom program called "No Junk" turned up. 4. Coins Everywhere in 2019! One of my 2019 resolutions was to acquire new metal detecting permissions. Getting new metal detecting permissions in my local area isn't easy. Most of the permissions I've been going after have been properties where soldiers from American Civil War could have passed through or camped for a day or two. The first permission I wanted to go after was only about 10 minutes from my home. Needless to say, it was a long shot, but I went knocking on the door anyway. The permission didn't turn out to have any evidence Civil War activity but WOW! did I ever luck out on this permission. My day quickly changed from wandering and exploring for Civil War relics to coin shooting BIG TIME! There were coins everywhere including some BIG SILVER coins. The permission turned out to be an old public swimming pool area where they had pool parties, dances, picnics etc. You have to check out this video! 3. You Don't Find Rare Coins Like This Everyday Metal Detecting! This is one of my favorite metal detecting videos 2019! You don't find coins like this metal detecting! These type of coins (if found metal detecting) are very rare. If you ever metal detect and dig up a rare coin like this, consider yourself extremely lucky and cherish the moment. They don't come around too often and if they do, they don't come out looking like they do in this video. STUNNING and AMAZING are 2 words to describe the high quality of this coin. Epic Site for Silver! But How Many Silver? Epic Site for Silver! But How Many Silver? This video was shot at the same place as my number 4 video above. I've had the lucky pleasure of landing this permission early in 2019 but by complete accident. For a completely different reason I wanted to hunt this permission and when the land owner revealed some of the land history to me, my original plans to hunt for civil war relics flew out the door and I went into silver coin shooting mode. It is very rare to find these types of permissions anymore but they do exist. You just have to have a little luck and stumble into them. Like I did! Finding Silver Coins Everywhere is definitely the best coin shooting metal detecting videos you will see in IMO! I captured this insane hunt after discovering this permission by total accident. and I couldn't wait to get back to treasure hunt this homestead again. I wasn't sure if the property owners were going to let back on the home site but they did. In about 3 hours of hunting, I found more silver coins than I have in the past 4 years!
